Terms of Service
This is the agreement between you and Bee Duels, made by David Godinez LLC. We keep it plain — no dense legal language, just what you need to know before you play.
Who can use Bee Duels
You must be 13 years old or older to use Bee Duels. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Your account
You create an account with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us right away.
Conduct and fair play
Bee Duels is a game you play against another person, and some trash-talk between rivals is part of the fun. That said, we do not tolerate:
- Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse of another player
- Hate speech or content that demeans someone based on a protected characteristic
- Bullying, stalking, or abusive behavior directed at another user
- Cheating, exploiting bugs, or using automated tools to play
- Impersonation, scams, or spam
- Handles or profile content that are obscene, hateful, or impersonate another person
Trash-talk that crosses into harassment or abuse is grounds for account suspension or termination, at our discretion, with or without notice.
We can suspend or terminate accounts
If you violate these terms — including through conduct described above — we may suspend or terminate your account. We may also remove content or block features as needed to keep the game fair and the community usable.
Your content and our content
Anything you submit through the app — your handle, profile content, and gameplay data — stays associated with your account, and you're responsible for it. Bee Duels, its name, logo, word lists, game design, and software are owned by David Godinez LLC and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app or its content except as the app itself allows.
In-app purchases
Bee Duels may offer optional in-app purchases, such as additional word packs, processed through Apple's App Store under Apple's own terms. Purchases are generally final; refund requests are handled by Apple according to their policies.
Service provided as-is
Bee Duels is provided "as-is," without warranty of any kind. We work hard to keep the game running smoothly, but we do not guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, David Godinez LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to this agreement
We may update these terms as Bee Duels grows. If we make a change that matters, we will update the effective date above and try to notify you inside the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Bee Duels will be resolved in accordance with those laws.
